CO2 Laser rejuvenation

What does CO2 skin rejuvenation do?

Laser skin rejuvenation is a non-ablative fractional laser skin resurfacing, a technique that incorporates a non-wounding laser to remove layers of skin as well as minor skin blemishes resulting in refreshed appearance, smoother texture and brighter looking skin.

What is the difference between IPL and Laser technology ?

IPL is similar to a laser treatment. However, a laser focuses just one wavelength of light at your skin, while IPL releases light of many different wavelengths, like a photo flash.

The light from IPL is more scattered and less focused than a laser. CO2 laser provides adequate treatment for skin problems such as  superficial sun damage, superficial lines and wrinkles, and acne. After the treatment, the skin regenerates itself.

On the other hand, laser technology are more precise with heat deeper targets and higher energy therefore laser technology is simply much more effective, and achieves substantially better results than IPL.

What to expect during and after the procedure?

The laser rejuvenation work by heating up the targeted tissue, without actually destroying it. Some people like the feeling of being snapped with a rubber band that is why the application of numbing cream is use during the treatment to keep away from pain and discomfort.

Most people experience mild redness after the procedure. This typically fades within a few hours.

You should be able to go right back to your regular activities. The treated area of skin will be red and sensitive for a few hours, as if you got sunburned.

Is CO2 laser rejuvenation effective?

Wavelengths of light to heat the surface enough to stimulate the skin to naturally regenerate while boosting collagen production. Therefore, CO2 laser is effective to treat superficial targets such as dull skin to hydrated, The result is refreshed appearance, glowing, healthier and plumper-looking skin.

Is there any downtime?

No, a little redness may occur post treatment; however, this should subside within 24 hours. You can apply makeup immediately after your treatment and resume your normal activities.

How many treatments do I need?

A visible improvement after one treatment, with skin looking radiant. To maintain the positive results, I typically recommend  4 to 6 treatments spaced at 4 to 6 weeks apart. Many clients continue maintenance treatments to maintain their great results which makes it a popular choice before weddings or other events.

For optimum results, we recommend 6 CO2 treatments, spaced 6-8 weeks apart.
